CABINET TO CONSIDER 2008 STATE BUDGET FULFILLMENT WEDNESDAY

During its regular meeting on Wednesday, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will examine the report on the fulfillment of the national budget for 2008, reads the agenda of the meeting put on the government’s website.

Acting Finance Minister Ihor Umanskyi will make a report on the issue.

Beside this, it is planned to discuss the state order for the purchase of goods, implementation of work and provision of services for government’s need in 2009.

The Cabinet members will also consider the plan of measures to support young scientists and create a museum of the Holodomor victims.

The Cabinet of Ministers is planning to endorse a supervisory board of open joint stock company SJSC UkrAvtoLeasing, and hear proposals on the protection of national interests in elimination of CJSC Ukrtatnafta.

The government will also hear information by Transport and Communications Minister Yosyp Vinskyi, Industrial Policy Minister Volodymyr Novytskyi, and Chief of the Main Control and Revision Office Mykola Syvulskyi on the use of funds extended from the state budget for the purchase of five AN-148 planes made by state-run enterprise Kyiv aviation plant Aviant.

As Ukrainian News reported, on April 15, the Cabinet of Ministers put off endorsement of the finance plan of state railway transport administration Ukrzaliznytsia for 2009.

Transport and Communications Minister Yosyp Vinskyi predicted that the issue would be put on the April 22 agenda.
